Installation Guide

Insure your leisure home is protected all year round and during winter storage. Damp and humidity is one of the biggest risks to caravans, motorhomes and boats. Causing mould, mildew, rot to timber framework and rust to metal parts, damp is caused by temperature changes and humidity and is a major risk to your leisure home. To help protect your leisure home all year round follow our BirchSorb installation Guide below:

STEP 1

Remove the BirchSorb sachet from the sealed PVC bag, avoid tearing the sachet.

STEP 2

Once removed from the PVC protective bag, the BirchSorb sachet will immediately start absorbing moisture and dampness from the air.

STEP 3

Erect the flat-pack box and place the sachet inside the box with the logo facing the vents.

STEP 4

Place the BirchSorb box on either a table or shelf, alternatively, use the self-adhesive tape to stick the box to either a wall or ceiling where it can absorb the moisture. Make sure the vents are facing outward.

STEP 5

Do not cover the BirchSorb sachet or box as this will stop it from absorbing moisture.

STEP 6

BirchSorb is only effective in protecting enclosed spaces (sealed from the outside elements) from dampness. If a window, vent or hatch is left open to the outside, BirchSorb’s effects will be limited.

STEP 7

To ensure continued protection, replace the BirchSorb sachets every two months.

STEP 8

Dispose of used sachets responsibly. BirchSorb can be placed with normal household waste once used.
Please read the safety information on the back of the sachet. Dispose of the sachet immediately if torn.
